Hosted by the Red Stick Fly Fishers club, the 31st annual Red Stick Day fly fishing festival celebrates the vast fly fishing opportunities across the northern Gulf Coast, as well as great fishing destinations. Admission is FREE. The event features expert seminars, fly tying demonstrations by some of the region's top fly tiers, fly casting instruction, and more. A jambalaya lunch is available for a nominal cost. A giant raffle benefits the club's conservation and education initiatives.

Northern Ohio Fly Fishing Expo

The Northern Ohio Fly Fishing Expo, the leading fly fishing show on the Lake Erie coast, attracts over 400 visitors. The show is hosted by North Coast Fly Fishers, the local club of Fly Fishers International. 2026 will be the 23st year of the show.
The show features a world-class seminar program, expert fly tiers, fly fishing clubs, a variety of vendors, guides, lodges, fishing/park locations, and related support organizations. It is an opportunity for experienced fly fishers to network and learn about new techniques, gear, and fly fishing locations. Beginners will learn about the sport and how to get started. There is something for the whole family.

2026 Gulf Coast Classic

The Gulf Coast Council (GCC) of Fly Fishers International (FFI) will host our 4th annual fly fishing festival on May 1-2, 2026, at the Learning Campus in Gulf State Park. This event features some of the top fly tiers and casting instructors from across the nation and region, fly fishing experts, conservation advocates, commercial and non-profit exhibitors, as well as a slew of fun activities.
Located in Gulf Shores, Alabama, the park offers state-of-the-art theatre area, meeting rooms, outside facilities, a restaurant, easy access to a 600-acre brackish lake and to beaches, and much more.

Come join us for a weekend of Fly Fishing fun at this FREE Do-It-Yourself event.
Join Women Connect for a weekend on the Missouri River near Wolf Creek and Craig, Montana! This event is open to all women anglers, regardless of skill and experience levels. It's a great opportunity to connect, learn, and gain confidence while enjoying fly fishing together in a social setting. The event operates in a Do-It-Yourself format, allowing you to explore the area on your own or with others each day. In the evenings, we will gather for social activities, including games, raffles, and sharing stories and adventures. Women Connect members will have the chance to enter special drawings! Hosts also plan to offer casting and fly-tying lessons during the event. You have the flexibility to choose your accommodations, whether you prefer camping, booking a cabin, staying at a ranch, a hotel, or a rental home. Since this event takes place at the beginning of the fishing season, we recommend booking your lodging early. Upon request, we can provide a general list of lodging options and guide services. Please remember to bring your own fishing equipment and purchase a Montana fishing license before you start fishing.

FlyFest brings the fly-fishing community together for learning, connection, and time with people who care deeply about the sport and the waters we love. Expect inspiring presentations, fly tying and casting demos, a vibrant consumer trade show, and plenty of space for fishing, food, fellowship, and fun. All under one roof!
For those who want to dive deeper, the weekend also includes small-group seminars, plus a community dinner and fundraising auction in support of Fly Fishers International.
